Meet the ‘wine pimp’ who’s revolutionizing coop wine purchasing - By Adam Lee
"Is cooperative buying part of the solution for California’s current wine glut? At least one entrepreneur thinks so.
COVID put a crimp in Moshé Wizeman’s wine buying. As a tech executive living in Israel, Moshé would visit some of Europe’s great wineries and return with cases of wine. But with the pandemic restricting travel, Moshé was forced to order his wine online and found it to be a frustrating endeavor. To make it efficient, he’d bring his relatives and friends into the process, enticing them by saying that if they purchased a certain amount of bottles from one retailer there would be an additional discount on the wine or a break on shipping. In short, Moshé became a wine pimp..."

Don't we sound good in German?
Priscilla Hennekam - Authur
"How can we come up with innovative ideas for the wine industry?
Start by solving the problems that YOU are faced with.
Today’s article comes from Moshé Weizman, a wine lover who suddenly had to change the way he bought wine during, and post-COVID. Moshe didn’t like the options for bulk-discounts, which he found expensive and limiting. If this was a problem for him, then surely it must be a problem for others, so he started thinking how to solve this..."

"I am privileged to talk with so many people, so many amazing, innovative people, with very cool ideas, and they always have the same problem. We, the wine industry, make their life so hard. With our closed mindset, we do not give these people opportunities; people who could make massive positive changes in our lives. It seems like we are contaminated by this mental phylloxera disease that makes us blind and deaf..."
Celebrating Israeli wine with Moshe Weizman's WINEing start-up
One person who has invested in his personal knowledge in international forums and has come up with an innovative concept that could go worldwide is Moshe Weizman.
One thing has become apparent since Oct. 7: We have an inordinate number of security experts. Turn on the television any time from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on any channel, and we see a panel full of experts spouting their theories and criticisms with absolute confidence that only they understand. In fact, the number of experts is in direct inverse proportion to the depth of the astonishing and catastrophic failures of that black Shabbat day. So many experts – but where were they when all systems failed?

Cellar Door Podcast
We appear to be in a golden age of technological innovation. Different industries respond to this in different ways, with some industries completely revolutionizing and others taking a more cautious approach to change. Many entrepreneurs see this as a time ripe with opportunity, entrepreneurs like Moshé Weizman, the co-founder of WINEing which platform designed to help wine merchants move stock while creating a collaborative and communal...
